Artist FAQs

Why submit my artwork?

As an Anthology Artist you get access to generous royalty payments every time a puzzle containing your design is rented or sold, plus optional access to our Ambassador program that pays commission when you introduce your followers to the Library!

What royalties can I earn?

  • $0.75 royalty every time one of your designs is rented from the Library (converted to your local currency).
  • $0.75 additional royalty per rental if you design your own cut pattern (converted to your local currency).
  • 5% commission on all orders from customers you refer, including every membership renewal, when you opt in to our Ambassador program.

How does the contract work?

As artists supporting artists, we don't believe in taking the rights to your work or limiting your ability to use it. Our contract simply ensures that we have permission to use your image(s) and confirms that you have the rights to allow us to do so.

You remain free to use your images for any other purpose while you have a contract with us. Please note that signing the contract does not guarantee that we will use your image.

What are the artwork requirements?

  • Images should be 1:1, 4:3 or 1:1.41 (ISO standard) aspect ratio.
  • Quality must be high enough not to appear pixelated when the longest edge is 18 inches.
  • No white/plain backgrounds will be accepted - if your image needs a background please use a pattern or color gradient.
  • PNG, PDF or Vector files are preferred.
  • Shaped designs are only accepted if you are designing your own cut pattern.

We reserve the right to crop or refuse images that have incorrect dimensions/backgrounds.

What are the cut pattern requirements?

We encourage artists to submit their own cut patterns. This helps us increase the variety of designs available to members and is rewarded with additional royalty payments.

The files below will help you to get started. Please be aware that all information provided here is property of Anthology Puzzles and use for any purpose other than creating puzzles for our library is strictly prohibited.
