Market Details & Registration

How the Makers' Market Works

  • We are part craft market and part retail collective. All vendors are expected to work together as a community to support each other by volunteering to staff the market for 1-2 days per week.
  • The space is rented to you for a full week from Saturday to Friday and is yours to keep so long as you continue to pay.
  • Your products must be on display with clear pricing at all times.

Vendor Requirements

  • You may only use the display hardware provided (small additional table-top stands are acceptable) except with permission in advance.
  • You must be present for the days selected during registration.
  • No hot food or drink vendors permitted.
  • Cold food & drink vendors must have a food hygiene rating and be present for the full week as volunteers are not trained to handle food.
  • No music, open flames, scent devices or behaviour that negatively impacts other vendors.
  • No selling of jigsaw puzzles (as this is our core business).

Business Hours

  • Mon-Sat 09:30 - 17:30
  • Sunday 10:30 - 16:30
  • Your products must be on display and available to purchase during these times.
  • Building access is available up to 30 mins before and after business hours via the loading dock.
  • Your space must be vacant by 17:45 on the Friday of your departure if you are not staying for the following week.


  • There are shared electrical outlets around the area. Any trailing cables must have an anti-trip sheath (not provided) and no daisy-chaining of adaptors is allowed.
  • Each cabinet has lighting inside.
  • Staff toilets are provided on the second floor.
  • There is no secure storage for boxes & carts.
  • Wifi is available. Use is limited to business reasons only - no streaming or large downloads.
  • CCTV is in operation and a security guard is present but we cannot guarantee the security of your items.

Transactions & Payouts

  • We cannot accept cash.
  • A 20% commission will be subtracted from each transaction made through our card system to help cover our costs.
  • You may optionally use your own payment system when present at your stand to avoid the commission, but must use ours when absent.
  • A PayPal account is required to receive your payouts.
  • Payouts are usually made within 48 hours of your weekly rental ending.

Making a Reservation

  • Once you have registered it will be possible to pick space.
  • You can book multiple spaces at once by adding them all to the cart before checkout (many traders like to take two adjacent spaces to give more display room).
  • Checking out will set up a weekly recurring payment.
  • Payments are taken in advance each Monday to cover the week starting on the upcoming Saturday.
  • Only one of each space is available so if it shows as sold out we unfortunately won't be able to accommodate you, but will advise if anything becomes available.
  • Bookings are non-refundable.
  • Bookings are non-transferrable.
